This extremely rare and highly collectable item of memorabilia is Andy Robinson’s England number 7 shirt from the match against Romania in Bucharest on 13 May 1989.The shirt is part of a large private collection from a gentleman who worked with both the Wales and England Unions during the 80’s and 90’s who is now selling the collection to raise money for his local Rugby Club. It is therefore sold with absolute provenance.The shirt is sold with a number of other items relating to the match including a match programme fully signed by the England Team over their names in the inside centre covers including Carling Andrew Richards Ackford Guscott etc – An official poster for the game a personal invitation/ticket for the match and unusually the original official typed multi-page itinerary for the tour.The shirt is presented in very good condition with all embroidery and numbering intact.Match worn shirts from this era rarely come to the market particularly with additional memorabilia and signed items so is a truly unique collection of England Rugby memorabilia.
